AboutSt David's Metropolitan Cathedral is one of the most spiritual churches in Cardiff. The original church building was constructed in 1842, which was designed by Pugin and Pugin Architects. The church started serving people with regular masses and other religious services. In 1920, the church was uplifted and declared as a Cathedral Church. St David's Metropolitan Cathedral was destroyed in 1941 by a bomb that was dropped during World War II. The cathedral conducted several fundraiser campaigns, and in the 1950s, the cathedral was restored and rebuilt. In 1959, the cathedral established a choir that has expanded over the years and still performs music during worship and other events. St David's Metropolitan Cathedral offers a place of worship and encounter with God to people who visit and work in the Capital City of Wales.
