| About | Belfast Community Acupuncture is a multi-bed acupuncture clinic in Northern Ireland. Emma offers acupuncture for a range of conditions according to her training and scope of practice, but she has a particular interest in persistent pain. Emma is one of the most highly qualified acupuncturists in Northern Ireland, achieving her licentiate diploma in traditional acupuncture (Lic.Ac) in 2011 following 4 years of study with the Acupuncture Foundation in Dublin and Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Later in 2019, she completed an MSc. in Advanced Oriental Medicine (research and practice), achieving a distinction for her two-year research dissertation into the therapeutic encounter between persistent pain and acupuncture and publishing her research in the peer-reviewed European Journal of Integrative Medicine. Emma had an empathetic and client-centred approach, seeing each person as an individual person. |
