The restaurant was started by the late Ho Ah Tong, a migrant from Putien in China, and now it has been passed down through three generations. Ming Chung protects the restaurant's legacy while upholding a unique and new tradition in the Singapore Henghua way. There are air conditioners and non-air conditioners seats to choose from. The restaurant specialises in home-style Henghua food and handmade dumplings. However, they still serve the traditional thick noodles and perennial Henghua favourites. In addition, they are known for their fried oyster omelette, the fried kai lan, and bean curd skin. |
