Bengawan Solo was established in 1979 by Tjendri Anastasia, originally from Indonesia. She's always involved in Indonesian delicacies in the tiny home kitchen of her HDB apartment. Anastasia has constructed her first centralised kitchen on a 9500 square foot private property on Harvey Road in MacPherson. Her homemade specialities even made it on the shelves of some food stores and emporiums. Bengawan Solo presently has 38 retail outlets and more than 409 employees. |
