About | Lian Shan Shuang Lin is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in toa Payoh. Lian Shan Shuang Lin was founded in 1898, and the development of the premises only started in 1902 and got completed in 1907. Lian Shan Shuang Lin is also known as Siong Lim Temple. The temple boasts a seven-storey gold-topped pagoda, which resembles the 800-year-old Shanfeng temple pagoda in Fujian. This temple holds extraordinary cultural and aesthetic value within itself.
