| About | Koon Seng Ting Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Telok Blangah. This temple has been located on a hill foot for more than a hundred years. The temple's main deity is Guanyin, a Goddess of Mercy/Compassion. The isolated and tranquil ambience of the temple allows devotees and visitors to pray, meditate and relax in peace. This temple served as a vegetarian hall for female orphans and women at the initial stages. Koon Seng Ting Temple faced various renovations and rebuilt during urban development. The visitors and devotees can visit the temple to achieve positive and peace of mind. There is a large statue of Guanyin in the front yard, a landmark in this area. |
