About	Hwee San Temple is one of the most famous Buddhist temples in Singapore. The temple was founded in 1907 by the Phua's clansmen from Nan'an, Fujian. It has a warm and welcoming environment for its visitors. The temple has a serene and tranquil environment, allowing visitors and devotees to pray, chant and meditate in peace. The temple welcomes people of all ages and cultures to enjoy and pray in the excellent ambience present. The temple celebrates Lord Pang and General Chen Li Er their birthdays. The temple has the main deities Lord Pan, Generals Chen, and other deities are Da Bo Gong and Five Battalion Commanders.
