About | Sheng Hong Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist temples located in Jurong East. This temple was founded in 1926 and was established in a village at Pasir Panjang 10th milestone. Sheng Hong Temple is dedicated to the worship of Guanyin. Sheng Hong Temple was established in its current location in 1980. It received the statue of Cheng Huang Ye from Cheng Huang Miao temple present in China. As the years grew, the community started growing, and the temple faced a relocation due to urban redevelopment. The walls of this temple are painted with scenes of the Ten Courts of Hell. The tranquil and isolated environment of the temple allows visitors and devotees to enjoy the calm and pleasant ambience during prayer or meditation. |
