The founders were of the surname Tan, who dedicated the temple to Chen Fu San Wei Da Ren, the patron deities of the Tan clan. The main deities are Lords Chen and other deities are Zhang Gong Shengjun, Qingshui Zu Shi, Wu Ying Shen Jiang and Fu De Zheng Shen.
