About	Dashashwamedh ghat is one of the oldest, most majestic and most significant ghats, located near the ancient temple of Kashi Vishwanath on the bank of the Gange River. In the year 1748, the current ghat was established by Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao. A few decades later, in 1774, the ghat was restored by Ahilyabahi Holkar, the Queen of Indore. Dashashwamedh ghat is known for the regular execution of the Agni Pooja by a group of priests devoted to Lord Shiva at night. The main attraction of the ghat is Gange aarti in the evening. This ghat has become the religious spot for the devotees & pilgrims for years and tourists as well. Dashashwamedh ghat is most famous among the locals and tourist. A ghat is an excellent place for a spiritual and religious and cultural experience.
