About	Pari Mahal is a palace of fairies located in Srinagar. It is one of Srinagar city's most popular tourist destinations, situated on top of the Zabarwan mountain range near Dal Lake. It was designed as a library and residence by the Mughal Prince Dara Shikoh in the middle of 1600. It was also used as an observatory for the instruction of astronomy and astrology. The Pari Mahal was also used as a top-secret interrogation centre and as a headquarters for high-level officials. The gardens are full of vibrant flowers and tropical fruit plantations, offering a stunning location straight out of a fairytale.
