About	Bhagawan Birsa Biological Park is popularly known as Bhagwan Birsa Zoo. The park is situated on both sides of National Highway 33, about 20 km from Ranchi city, the capital of Jharkhand. It is one of India's most stunning and modern zoos, with 104 ha of mildly undulating topography field with natural dry deciduous Sal forests and water bodies in and around it. Most zoo inmates live in open, broad moated areas surrounded by natural vegetation, providing a naturalistic climate and ecosystem. Bhagawan Birsa Biological Park also rehabilitates orphaned, injured, stray, sick animals, saved from the wild or circuses, derecognized zoos, etc. In addition, it offers free entry for disabled people and children below three years.
