About	Tamil Nadu Agriculture University is located in Coimbatore maintains this huge 300-acre botanical garden called the TNAU Botanical Garden. It has a large variety of roses, marigolds, chrysanthemums, carnations and lilies. The play of beautiful flowers in green bushes provides stunning views. There are so many varieties of plants & trees you can find there, and each species is labelled with its common name as well as scientific name. The garden covers over an area of 300 hectares and has some rare breeds of trees and flowers. They conduct plant/flower shows once a year (January month). TNAU Botanical Garden also maintain a nursery where visitors can get knowledge on plant growing techniques.
