| About | Ganga Deri is a historical monument located in the center of Bhavanagar. It is the silent witness through the history of Bhavnagar, and it was built the marble. The stunning marble monument was built in 1983 AD by Maharaja Takhtsinhji in memory of his wife, Maharani Rajba. The architecture of Ganga Deri is a synthesis of Mughal and Rajput. Sir John Griffith, the principal of the J.J. School of Art in Bombay, designed it. The monument's architectural style is a mix of Mughal and Rajput.The grills in the monument are carved with delicate floral motifs, and the columns are the distinctive features of the memorial. |
