About	Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum located in Agra. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal four hundred years ago. Taj Mahal houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself as well. It's a tomb of the wife of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. Mumtaz Mahal built of marble by over 20,000 workers between 1632 & 1648, and is a monument to the enduring power of love. It covers forty-two acres, including a mosque and a guest house and is surrounded by a crenellated wall bounded by gardens on three sides. The exterior displays are among the finest in Mughal architecture. The ornaments are proportionally refined as the surface area changes. The Taj Mahal's inner chamber stretches well beyond conventional decorative elements.
