About	Dr Padmanabha Shenoy is a well-known Rheumatologists in Kochi. He has completed his MBBS from the University of Kerala with ten gold medals, joined the prestigious JIPMER Pondicherry and completed his MD in internal medicine with four gold medals. Subsequently, he finished DM in clinical immunology and rheumatology from SGPGI Lucknow. During his tenure, he was chosen for the best resident award of the institute. For his innovative work in scleroderma, he was awarded a plenary lecture at the American college of rheumatology. He was the first Indian to get the honour in 72 years of the history of American college. Following this, he returned to Kerala and founded the first academic rheumatology department at Amrita Institute of Medical Science, Kochi. He is now practising at Shenoy's Care.
