| About | Cubbon Park has been in the heart of Bengaluru city, Since 1870. It is officially called Sri. Chamarajendra Park. It has 100 years of history, and John Meade founded it. It has more than 6,000 trees around the park. It is an open park to the public, but every day early morning, 5 to 8 am, the roads near the park are closed on behalf of more traffic and helps to provide fresh air and natural surroundings for the morning jogging and Walking people. Department of Horticulture is taking control of Cubbon park. It is the best excursion spot to spend time with families and friends. At the entrance of the Cubbon park, there is an octagonal-shaped Bangalore Aquarium anyone can visit, and its place in that park has different types of fish. The administration and preservation of the park are managed by the Deputy Director of the Horticulture Department. It is a lush green area of the city and is an absolute place for nature-loving persons and peaceful surroundings. |
