About	Rajaji Home for the aged is a fully residential home for the poor and destitute male senior citizens. It was started in the year 1956 under the aegis of The Guild of Service, Madurai District Branch. There are separate buildings for dwelling, dining, doing meditation, and conducting meetings with all the required facilities. This Home aims to meet the needs of senior citizens over the age of 60 who are poor, abandoned, uncared for, or homeless. They strive to be the most reputable Home and provide the best care for the elderly. Senior citizens can also go for walks in the Home's fenced-in open space for physical activities. Students from the Institute of Social Sciences and other colleges come to the Home to counsel the poor.
