About	Government Museum is one of the famous museums in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. The museum was founded in 1981 during the 5th World Tamil Conference. It provides arts, music and design training sessions and summer training camps. The museum also deals with Archaeology, Anthropology, Zoology, Numismatics, Botany and Geology.
