About	H.H. Maharaja Jiwajirao Scindia Museum holds 35 rooms of the opulent Jai Vilas Palace of the Scindias, founded by Maharaja Jayajirao in 1874. The museum has one of Asia's most extensive carpets for a 12-year run. The museum also houses the Chitrangada Raje Art Gallery and a library that comprises more than 5,000 books. The museum has five halls that describe different historical activities and times. You can see the beautiful, strange things filling the museum's space, including cut-glass chairs, stuffed tigers, and a female-only pool with its fancy boat. After dinner, the elegant dining room shows a model railway track with a silver-built train around the dining table. The museum affords free entry for children up to 5 years.
