| About | Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo was established in 1972 originally as the Dominion Forest Nursery Station and later Sutherland Forest Nursery Station. It is a non-profit environmental awareness group devoted to encouraging appreciation for nature. Its primary focus is on Saskatoon grassland biodiversity and species that call the prairies home. The zoo also has several endangered animals. Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo offer educational services at the park and beyond. It is funded by its subscription plan, loans, gifts, expense recovery of its services, and funds earned at Paws in gift shop and concession. The Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo is open every day except for Christmas day. |
