AboutBrueckner Rhododendron Gardens is one of Canada's most extensive collections of rhododendrons. It is the 18-acre lakefront garden that is most colourful in spring, specializing in rhododendrons. The City of Mississauga acquired Cranberry Cove in 1975 and developed it as a garden area called Rhododendron Gardens. Initially, it was called Cranberry Cove, and later it was named after the late Dr. Joseph Brueckner recognizes his contribution of hundreds of rhododendrons to this location. The garden nourishes and shelters the beautiful rhododendrons that bloom only in early summer. The garden provides a unique focal point and ecosystem connecting the waterfront park system to the Waterfront Trail. You can visit the Garden at any time of the year.
