About | Waterloo Region Museum is Ontario's largest museum located in Kitchener. It is also the entrance to Doon Heritage Village. The village shows the life history of Waterloo Region in 1914. It features old houses, farm animals, and enjoyable events that the whole family loves. The main exhibit of the museum traces the 12,000-year human history of the Waterloo Region. The Central Gallery and Mezzanine galleries tell the evolving tale of the Waterloo Area from ancient times to the current, while their 5,000 square feet. Art Gallery features local and international exhibitions from across the country. Waterloo Region Museum also offers a range of special events and everyday activities.
