About	Théâtre De l'Île is a simple community theatre located in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. The site was built designed as a Hull Water Works in 1886 when the site was at the center of a predominantly industrial area. The City of Hull and the National Capital Commission have teamed up to reconstruct the building and developed it as a theatre. The theatre happily combines professional and community aspects. It started in 1976 and became the first municipal theatre in Quebec City. Théâtre De l'Île has seats up to 119. It offers a variety of different shows every year, with around 25,000 spectators each year.
