AboutFashion History Museum was founded in 2004 by Jonathan Walford and Kenn Norman. Museums never held design exhibits until the 1980s, but when they started to draw crowds, the gems of clothes that languished in the basements of major museums started to see the light of galleries. Fashion History Museum (FHM) become a non-profit corporation, and in March 2009, the Canadian government granted the FHM charitable status. The museum holds over 10,000 items ranging from the oldest existing European shoe worn in North America. Fashion History Museum is the best place to view the history of fashion.
