About | Historic Bovaird House serves as a local museum and a nostalgic location for various seasonal activities. The 1852 Historic Bovaird House, a traditional Georgian-style five-bay farmhouse, is located in a two-acre park-like environment together with the 1845 Pendergast Log House. The museum was founded in the early 1990s by the ‘Friends of Historic Bovaird House,' a dedicated organization of volunteers who preserve and administer the museum three days a week. History comes alive if you tour two of Brampton's great historic homes, where people can enjoy a view of local pioneering life. The historical houses are from the middle of the 19th century. The Friends of the Historical Bovaird House delivers a wide variety of programs and events. Historic Bovaird House offers free admission for all visitors. |
