AboutThe Aurora Historical Society was established in 1963 and is committed to preserving the history of Aurora. A non-profit organization run by a volunteer team is proud to own and manage the National Historic Site of Hillary House. Hillary House was built in 1862 and used for over 100 years as a doctor's practice and family residence. The Aurora Historical Society includes its collections of medical equipment, historical objects and related documents. The Historical Society is also very interested in education, heritage and preservation.
