About	Afshin Shams finished his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from York University. He completed his Physiotherapy degree at the European School of Physiotherapy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He has a special interest in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation. Afshin has an extensive background in athletics, strength and conditioning and has experience working with high school and varsity athletes. His treatments include manual therapy, specific corrective exercises, and the incorporation of strength and conditioning to bridge the gap between the two disciplines. He is committed to staying up to date with the latest evidence-based research and plans to pursue continuing education in medical acupuncture, manual therapy and sports performance enhancement. He serves as the physical therapist at the Form & Function clinic.
