| About | Dr. George Papadakis obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1993 from the State University of New York College of Optometry in NY. Dr. George continues to have a keen interest in the field of low vision & vision rehabilitation. The doctor has lectured in his optometry field and is presently a clinical associate of the Univ of Waterloo School of Optometry, who oversees & trains optometry students in his practice. He is currently pursuing his Diplomate status in low vision. There are 59 low-vision Diplomates worldwide & currently only 1 in Canada. Dr. Papadakis supports The CNIB Foundation and remains a loyal advocate of Vision Loss Rehabilitation & its clients. His dedication has sent him on several volunteer missions to villages in Mexico, offering vision care to the underprivileged. The doctor is an active member of the Greek community.
