| About | Dr. Gary J. Redekop obtained his MD from the University of Western Ontario (UWO). He did his neurosurgical residency and fellowship training in cerebrovascular surgery in the division of neurosurgery at UWO. He also completed his fellowship training in interventional neuroradiology at the University of Toronto. Dr. Gary has worked in close collaboration with his colleagues in surgery, anesthesia, neurology and radiology to develop a multidisciplinary service combining microvascular and endovascular approaches to cerebrovascular disease. Dr. Gary J. Redekop gives the surgical treatment for Intra and Extra-Cranial Cerebrovascular Diseases, especially expert in managing arteriovenous malformations and cerebral aneurysms. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Radiology and Head of the Dept. of Surgery at VGH. |
