About | Port Mann Bridge is an elegantly designed bridge located at Trans-Canada Highway in Surrey, BC. It provides a great view of the Frazier river and an excellent way to travel between Surrey/Langley and Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows and Coquitlam. It is recently tied for the longest cable-stayed bridge in North America with the Bay Bridge in California. The old bridge was the longest arch bridge in Canada downtown, and ad the time of its inauguration, it was considered one of the world's third-longest bridges. The new bridge is 2.02 kilometres long, up to 65 metres wide, carries ten lanes of traffic, and has a 42 metres clearance above the river's high water level. |
