| About | Port Dalhousie Range Lighthouses is an acclaimed historical landmark located in St. Catharines, Ontario. Port Dalhousie harbour has served as the northern terminus of the first three Welland Canals for just over a century. These made the town a maritime destination and industrial centre. The landmark has been the subject of a significant development project for the past several years and makes an excellent backdrop for Lake Ontario's entrance photos. It is located on one side of the waterway giving access to the Pt. Dalhousie Marina from Lake Ontario. Port Dalhousie Range Lighthouses provides natural light inside the tower and a panoramic view of the harbour. The sheathing boards are installed diagonally to provide additional strength to the light house's structure. |
