| About | Red Deer Memorial Centre is the largest soft-seat performing theatre that can hold up to 704 seatings. The Red Deer Memorial Centre plays an integral role in the arts scene in central Alberta. The center is playing host to a wide variety of events and artists, both local and international. There are three dressing rooms, a green room area and restrooms available in this centre. The centre also offers on-site laundry and shower facilities. A part of A-20 Training Camp during WWII was converted into an auditorium, and after facing some renovations, it became a performance arts centre. It provides a variety of local and international events in the theatre. A memorial wall was placed in the lobby in the memory of those who lost their lives in World Wars I and II. |
