AboutOld Town Hall is inaugurated in July 1883 in Newmarket, ON. The building was designed in the Italianate style by the architectural firm of Mallory & Sons, following then-Mayor William Cane’s desire for a modern building. There is a beautiful space at Old Town Hall that is available for rent. The structure is one of the country's most dynamic, diverse and desirable towns to live and work in. It provides big-city amenities such as premium health care facilities (Southlake Regional Health Centre), upscale shopping and retail. It has extensive recreation and culture programs, public art initiatives and heritage and historic preservation projects.
