AboutMcCrae House is a National Historic Site located in the downtown of Guelph, Ontario. The museum contains both permanent and temporary exhibition space that interprets the life and times of John McCrae. The place is the birthplace of John McCrae, doctor, soldier and author of In Flanders Fields, and it gives more information about McCrae's life besides his time in WWI. The house shares an influential part of Canadian history and its brave people. It's incredibly quaint in a beautiful piece of town and tells detailed information about Canadian war history. The environment at the house and grounds is one of reflection and anticipation, enhanced by engaging programs, including outdoor tea and theatre programs during the summer. McCrae House even affords summer activities for its entire visitors.
