| About | Lynde Shores Conservation Area is a protected area that is highly popular for wildlife viewing, with a variety of looping trails. It was established in 1972. the conservation area composes the mouth of Lynde Creek and its surrounding marshlands, including Cranberry Marsh. The trails are just the right length for little ones, particularly the Chickadee Trail. The trails are generally safe for strollers and wheelchairs. It consists of 5 km of trails, including the 1 km looping trail within the Cranberry West Tract. Lynde Shores Conservation Area has habitats for nest birds and is an essential layover point for migrating waterfowl and shorebirds. The Conservation Area encourages visitors to view the new marsh viewing area. |
