| About | High Park is one of the most significant public parks in Toronto. It was opened in 1876 which covers 161 hectares (400 acres), and it is the second-largest municipal park in Toronto. Visitors can also enjoy the range of activities outdoors, including ice-skating and baseball games. It features plenty of hiking trails, sporting facilities, varied vegetation, 18 picnic areas, and a lovely lakefront. High Park also has an off-leash area for dogs with several paths where dogs can run free. There are a few cafes where you can have a cup of tea and enjoy a stroll in the park. High Park is one of the popular destinations for runners and hikers. The zoo in the park is open for visitors with free admission. Convenient parking is also available. |
