The geological history of this area is fascinating to visitors. The Irving Nature Park offers free guided tours. There are 8 different walking trails of varying lengths and a roadway that encircles the park. The trails winding in and around the trees on the shoreline side are great places to unwind and relax. The park’s highest point is the Lookout Tower. A boardwalk that extends into the salt marsh is ideal for birdwatching. You can be using binoculars mounted on-site.
