It has several picnic sites and shelters with seats that are accessible for all visitors and residents. The park also has a bike path that runs through the park, and you can find some benches to take a break. There is a playground for the kids to play with slid, swings, and more. There are some pieces of art around. There are three ball diamonds, a soccer field and it offers free parking. Les Sherman Park is an excellent park with lush grass and has a lot of open space. It is the best place to see a variety of shorebirds and warblers.
