| About | Pink Lake Trail is one of the most popular sites in Gatineau Park. Pink Lake is meromictic because gorgeous blue and green as the water levels don't mix. The lake's water layers blend entirely during the spring and fall because of water density, air temperature, and the wind. It has a beautiful walking path around the lake and stunning views from the lookouts. Pink Lake Trail features a 2.5km hike around Pink lake. It has an easy trail with lots of stairs, and it can also be used even on rainy days. The park provides free parking. It offers the opportunity to relax while learning about the ecology of the site. Volunteers also helped to plant 10,000 small trees. Pink Lake Trail has free parking facilities. |
