| About | The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity is one of the famous churches in Québec. The church is the first Anglican cathedral built outside the British Isles. They nestled in the heart of Old Quebec, and it is the Mother Church of the Diocese of Quebec and home to two parishes, the Parish of Quebec and the Paroisse de Tous Les Saints. Cathedral of the Holy Trinity grey stone cathedral is rectangular in layout. The church nave is divided lengthwise into three, giving two side galleries. It is an elegant example of Palladian architecture, as seen in the pediment, the archway and the Ionic pilasters. It is a brilliant creation that has remained largely intact and greatly influenced Canadian architecture, notably the work of François Baillairgé. Cathedral of the Holy Trinity efforts to help preserve and maintain its buildings and grounds. The Foundation supports special projects, such as restoring their art, altar frontals, and bells. |
