About	St Patrick's Parish is the second oldest church in the Hamilton community. By 1876, the cornerstone was laid, and the building operations began on the church. After completing the church's construction, a pipe organ was installed in the choir loft. By 1883, the church was dedicated when there were 500 families in the community. By 1927, the church was announced as the new cathedral. Across the years, they replaced the original slate roof, and the original roof was made to sell those who wanted a historical piece. St Patrick's Parish features 39 main windows that feature biblical scenes. Their skilled workers were brought to carve the limestone columns. St. Patrick's is referred to be as the finest example of 13th-century architecture. With the help of Wentworth Catholic District School, the church opened St. Patrick Catholic Elementary School. This church is one of the architectural masterpieces, attracting many visitors and community people for masses and as a sightseer place.
