Joel Siegel is the founder of Siegel's Bagels, who grew up working in Montreal's bagel shop, a city famous for its bagels. Siegel's Bagels is a down-to-earth shop with housemade bagels and breakfast sandwiches in an unfussy environment. They regularly bake throughout the day and night, providing you with the freshest bagels. Siegel's Bagels is proud to sell authentic Montreal-style bagels at their deli and bakery in Kitsilano and the Granville Island Public Market. In the Montreal-style tradition, their bagels are boiled then baked in a classic wood-burning oven, which gives them an excellent crusty outside and chewy inside that is satisfying to sink your teeth. Their bagels are rich in energy, low in fat (98.5% fat-free), and they come in a wide variety of flavours, from the traditional sesame to Siegel's recipes like rosemary rock salt and ancient grains.
