The award-winning museum shows the stories of the past citizens from their beginnings as a British penal settlement through to the popular tourist and sea-change destination. They have been sharing Port Macquarie's stories since 1957. The museum has over 2,000 objects on display at any time. They feature original artworks, photographs and objects, contemporary landscapes, and illustrating history. You can get free entry on the first Sunday of each month 11am to 3pm. You can also take their free audio tour at any time. |
