About	Queens Park is a popular park and botanic garden in Toowoomba. It is a beautiful and wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The park has botanical gardens, two playgrounds, the home of the Carnival of Flowers each September, an off-leash dog park and a BBQ. The park host many community activities and annual events. The park has a large shelter, picnic tables, barbecues and seats. Each year, thousands of seedlings are planted in attractive geometric-shaped garden beds to ensure the peak of their bloom in time for the Carnival of Flowers. The south-eastern and north-western corners provide large grassy expanses for sports, with the addition of a special swing for disabled children’s enjoyment.
