About	Queens Park boasts a choice of lovely gardens and manicured lawns available for both public and private events. It covers six hectares and is situated at the eastern end of Mackay’s city precinct. The park has play equipment, landscaping and picnic areas. The new innovative playground has been relocated to the north-western corner of the park. The playground is the largest and best in the area and has proven extremely popular since it has been opened to the public. The park features a multi-level custom Mega Deck Tower with slides from various heights, so kids of all ages are able to build up their slide confidence. Queens Park is available for weddings, birthdays, reunions and similar social functions.
