| About | Dr Jason Papacostas obtained his medical education from the University of Queensland, Australia, in 2001. He got his fellowship at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2013. His special interest areas are minimally invasive skull base surgery, awake cranial neurosurgery and epilepsy surgery. He has a large minimally invasive spine surgery practice and is a member of the RBWH spine team. Dr Jason pioneered Stereo EEG surgery for epilepsy patients in Queensland, and he regularly presents on a national and international level. He is a visiting neurosurgeon at Mater Private Hospital Brisbane as part of the Mater Centre for Neuroscience. Dr Jason is also employed as a consultant neurosurgeon at Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
