About	Dr. Amal Abou-Hamden is an Australian-trained neurosurgeon. She earned her pathological degree from the University of Adelaide, Australia, in 1997. She completed her postgraduate fellowship training in Vascular Neurosurgery at Toronto Western Hospital, Paediatric neurosurgery at the Hospital for Sick Kids, Toronto and Epilepsy surgery at Austin Hospital, Melbourne. She has a subspecialty interest and expertise in Aneurysm and AVM surgery, including minimally invasive microsurgery for intracranial aneurysms, Microsurgery for complex aneurysms and AVMs and ECIC Bypass surgeries.
