| About | Drouin war memorial is a bronze statue placed near the railway station in Drouin. It is the statue of the battle-dressed infantryman from Australia. The monument memorialises those who have served in the numerous battles in which Australia has been involved. The war memorial was updated with a massive WWII soldier statue. Its two brick pillars and grey granite polished tablets bearing the names of those who fought in both World Wars. The monument honours those who have served in the various conflicts in which Australia has been involved. In 2015, the memorial space was expanded to upgrade to the Memorial Park with new entrances, pathways and landscaping. |
