AboutAlbury Library Museum was designed by Ashton Raggatt McDougall and opened its gate in 2007. The Library Museum is a community hub bringing together state-of-the-art technology, reading and research facilities, a dynamic program of events and a diverse exhibition schedule. It has 50,000 books, journals and electronic media objects and attracted 80,000 visitors in its first year of operation. The staff in both the library and the museum section are absolutely fantastic and extremely helpful. You can learn a lot of things here, including a permanent display of local history as well as changing exhibitions. It offers free museum displays and a children's play area.
